KazTransOil beats oil transportation target in 2024

In 2024, the volume of oil transportation through the KazTransOil JSC main oil pipeline system amounted to 44 million 887 thousand tons. This is 699 thousand tons, or 2% more than in 2023, Kazinform News Agency learned from the company’s official website.

The volume of oil supplied to the domestic oil refineries (including Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP) in 2024 reached 16 million 712 thousand tons, which is 139 thousand tons more than in 2023.

Exports of Kazakhstani oil in 2024 amounted to 17 million 253 thousand tons, which is 635 thousand tons, or 4% more against 2023.

Oil transit through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC to China and Uzbekistan made 10 million 214 thousand tons. This is 70 thousand tons more than in 2023.

"Freight turnover of oil through KazTransOil JSC main oil pipeline system in 2024 amounted to 35 billion 526 million ton-kilometers, surpassing Y2023 indicator by 1 billion 318 million ton-kilometers, or 4%. KazTransOil JSC demonstrates stable growth and exceeds targets set, strengthening its position in the oil transportation market," the company says.

Earlier, it was reported that Kazakhstan’s KazMunaytGas ramped up oil and condensate production to 23.8mln tons.
